History of origins
Each STEINBILD tells the probably oldest story in the world - our earth history
The supercontinent Pannotia disintegrated into individual parts. The collision of two continents resulted in the unfolding of the Caledonian mountains (Variscan mountain building).
Mineralogy
The earth age of the Paleozoic began with the Cambrian explosion. Thereby almost all still existing tribes of the animal kingdom developed. During the Paleozoic several mass extinctions occurred in the animal and plant kingdoms. Among them was the largest mass extinction in Earth's history at the end of the Paleozoic, when over 90% of marine species and 75% of terrestrial species became extinct.
